Jeffrey L. Dryden, DO, Medical Director

A 1982 Graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine,   Dr. Dryden joined SMCHC in July of 2005.

C. Leann Benson, M.D.
Internal Medicine

Dr. Benson graduated from the University of Missouri n 2003. Following a two year commitment at the A.I.C Kijabe Hospital in Kijabe, Kenya she joined the staff of SMCHC and OCCHC in 2010.

Garry E. Finke, M.D.
Pediatrics

A 2004 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Dr. Finke completed a Pediatric Internship in 2005 and Pediatric Residency in 2007. Following a two year commitment at the A.I.C Kijabe Hospital in Kijabe, Kenya he became a SMCHC and OCCHC staff member in 2010.

Larry Kennon, APRN, BC

After working part time at SMCHC and OCCHC for more than a year, Larry Kennon, APRN, BC joined the staff full time in January 2008. Larry received his BSN from Southeast Missouri State in 1976 and did his training as an advanced practice nurse in family practice at the University of Missouri in 1982.

Sharyn Rohder, APN
Family Nurse Practitioner

Sharyn has been a Nurse Practitioner for sixteen years. She received BSN at Bemidji State University in Minnesota and her Nurse Practitioner at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. She previously worked at Ozarks Medical Center ER and at Cave City in Arkansas.
While she sees patients of all ages in her practice a main focus has been Woman’s Health.

Kelly Mills
Physician Assistant

Kelly earned her masters in physician assistant studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2002. After moving to West Plains in August 2007, she began practicing at Southern Missouri Community Health Center in November 2007.
