Certified Application Counselors at Southern Missouri Community Health Center can help you understand and apply for health insurance.
Health Center Staff Can Help
Trained staff will show you the Health Insurance Marketplace website, where you will “shop” for and buy an insurance plan that works best for you.
They will walk you through the Marketplace application so you can compare your options and enroll in a health insurance plan.
What You Get and What You Pay
All Marketplace plans must cover doctor visits, prescriptions, emergency room and hospital care, pregnancy, mental health, pre-existing conditions, and more.
Medicare
SMCHC staff are certified to assist new and existing Medicare enrollees choose a plan best suited for them. SMCHC can offer enrollment in traditional Medicare plans, Medicare Advantage plans, and part D.
